When did you join the Pye family?
I originally joined in April 2019 with a break in service in November 2019. Realising the error of my ways, I re-joined again in January 2020. I now realise that the grass here at Pye’s is lush and wonderful.
What was your first role at Pye, and the path to your current role?
My first role at Pye was sales executive, then progressing to senior sales executive in September 2021. It is great to have the support and opportunity to progress.
What does a typical day at work look like?
BUSY!!! I could start my day helping my manager Dan plan the day's deliveries, follow ups and jobs around the showroom. There's a lot of pictures, preparation and videos to take and work that goes on in the background. There is also the chance to star in the car of the week videos showing off our used cars or vans. I rarely stop.
What do you most enjoy about your role at Pye?
Variation, I am very sociable so enjoy meeting and talking to people: the teams across the group, different departments and of course our lovely customers.
What are you most excited by within the business?
There is a lot of changes that will be happening within the automotive industry that are sure to cause some excitement in the next few months, electrification, commercial vehicles and uptime for businesses.
Within your role what are you most proud about?
I love the feeling of completing a sale ensuring customers needs are met and the car is exactly what they need. It’s a great feeling helping a customer leave with a new car that they love.
What vehicle do you currently drive?
A grey Ford Focus Titanium Vignale which we named Keith at Kendal.
What's in your boot?
Absolutely nothing, I have OCD so my car is always clean on the inside not quite on the outside though!
What would be your dream vehicle to drive?
One with a chauffeur and a mini bar in the back.
