New Fords arriving in 2022

By Pye Motors

Last month we looked back at all the new models that came into the Pye showroom in 2021, so as we start the new year here’s what we’re most looking forward to for 2022.

We were delighted to welcome Ford’s first all-electric vehicle, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, when it came into our showrooms in March last year and we’re equally excited for the GT version to arrive. Not only is it the fastest accelerating member of the Ford Mustang family in Europe but its iconic and aggressive design gives it considerable kerb appeal over other electric cars.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT is eye-catching from every angle with two new bold and exclusive body colours of Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange, making it stand out on any crowded high street. With an impressive 310 miles of electric driving you will have plenty of time to try out the additional untamed plus mode for track driving too.

After Ford’s first all-electric car with the Mustang Mach-E we knew the first all-electric commercial vehicle wouldn’t be too far behind. Due in the Spring the Ford E-Transit will bring a different dynamic to the iconic Transit van, designed to offer zero emissions without compromising the Transit’s legendary load capacity.

With an optional extra of the Pro Power Onboard it can also deliver 2.3kW of power without the need for a separate portable generator keeping you working in the most remote of locations. With less moving parts than equivalent diesel models, Ford also expects a 40% reduction in service costs based on a 3 year or 180,000 km period. Whatever your requirements, the Ford E Transit offers a winning combination.

Set to revolutionise your business and your weekend is the new Ford Tourneo Connect. This Multi-Activity Vehicle is big enough to shoulder your workload and flexible enough for the whole family. Choose from a nimble, low-emission EcoBoost petrol and EcoBlue diesel engine or the adventure ready All-Wheel drive option, 5 or 7 seats and a long and short wheelbase - you can tailor the Tourneo so it meets the needs of the school run, delivery run or weekend break.

With a completely refined interior, dynamic exterior styling and an all-digital driving experience its versatility will enable you to take it all on and keep everyone happy in the process.

The new Ford Fiesta has a new exterior design giving the iconic small car a stylish presence sure to turn heads, whilst forward thinking technologies such as its digital instrument cluster create a more efficient and enjoyable drive. Its EcoBoost Hybrid Powershift offers a seven speed automatic dual-clutch transmission which helps to reduce CO2 emissions and running costs perfect for stop-start urban driving.

The new Ford Focus is packed with next-gen connectivity, efficiency and control with access to new high-tech security features too. Advanced speech recognition allows you to voice control your climate and media functions alongside the inbuilt navigation if you prefer - which might be a step too far for some.

With four distinct models, you can choose the all-out performance of the ST, sports-inspired styling of the ST-line, the rugged practicality of the Focus Active or the deluxe comfort of the Titanium. All offer a new Focus experience that’s better than ever.
If 2022 is the year for you to upgrade your family car, make changes to your commercial vehicle or make the switch to electric the Pye Team are available to answer your questions and ensure you get the right option for you.
