A Message from Nick Payne, Managing Director

I am thrilled to announce some significant and exciting additions to the Pye Motors group as we celebrate our 101st year in business.

We are actively expanding both our footprint and our franchise partners. This unprecedented period of diversification and opportunity is something our entire team has grasped with both hands, and I am incredibly proud of what we are building together.

Here is a look at what is launching this September:

Kendal Geely: Beginning this month, we are launching Kendal Geely on Mint Bridge Industrial Estate in a newly renovated building. We carefully chose this site and worked alongside Trevor Dodgson of D4 Developments to bring exacting Geely brand standards to life. Geely—the firm behind Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus—features an impressive lineup starting just north of £20,000, offering plug-in hybrid and full EV options with an 8-year warranty as standard.
Omoda & Jaecoo (Kendal): We are transforming our existing Kendal site to become our second Omoda and Jaecoo dealership. Following their extraordinary success in the UK over the last two years, bringing these stylish, high-tech, and value-driven brands to the South Lakes has been a major priority. Please note: our existing Ford customers will still be able to service and repair their vehicles here as usual.
Morecambe Expansion (White Lund): We have recently purchased two showrooms just off the Bay Gateway on the White Lund Industrial Estate—actually buying back the very land we sold in 1995! These buildings will house our second Chery site (joining our successful Barrow location) and introduce Lepas, another stablemate from the Chery, Omoda, and Jaecoo family. Both brands bring packed-with-innovation vehicles, 7-year warranties, and fantastic value choices for North Lancashire customers just in time for the busy September plate change.

Looking to the Future

This strategic expansion takes our group from three Ford sites to a diverse portfolio of 2 Ford, 2 Omoda & Jaecoo, 2 Chery, 1 Lepas, and 1 Geely locations.

We are thrilled to welcome many new colleagues to the group and look forward to welcoming many new faces as Pye customers. While Ford has been, and always will be, a massive part of who we are, adding these high-quality brands to our group and our local area has been an absolute privilege.

My team and I are genuinely excited to bring all of these new buildings and brands into reality.

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a lender on our panel, which includes lenders of vehicle manufacturers. We have commercial arrangements with lenders and credit brokers which are likely to influence who we introduce you to. We are not an independent financial adviser and don’t give you any advice or recommendations. It is your choice whether you enter into any finance agreement.

Our approach is to introduce you first to the manufacturer lender linked to the franchise offering you the vehicle. They will usually offer the best available package for you, taking into account both interest rates and other contributions (but we do not guarantee they do). If they are unable to offer finance, we then seek to introduce you to someone else on our panel. We will usually receive a commission for your introduction. This will be either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you choose.

Lenders of vehicle manufacturers may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will tell you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receiving this commission. The exact amount of commission will be confirmed before you sign your finance agreement.
