The All-New Ranger Raptor

Some of the Pye Team were lucky enough to view this fantastic new vehicle in the flesh at the recent Commercial Vehicle Roadshow at the NEC in Birmingham. It was our first look at the new model and all of us were extremely impressed.

Ford have decided to launch this new model before the standard pick-up after the previous generation Ranger Raptor was such a hit in the UK. Highlights include a unique chassis set-up when compared to the standard Ranger to boost the off-road performance and sports seats ‘inspired by the F-22 fighter jet’.

Ford Performance
Starting with the important bit, the All-New Raptor is equipped with a 10-speed automatic, twin turbo charged, 3.0 litre, V6 288 PS EcoBoost petrol engine. This vehicle is all about road performance.

You can personalise your driving style by switching between four driving modes - Sport, Eco, Trail and the all-new Baja mode which adapts the vehicle for high speed, off road demands. The All-New Raptor is equipped with Fox dampers so it can handle and absorb anything you throw at it.

Luxury inside and out

Inside, The All-New Raptor offers ultimate luxury with the digital dashboard interface and SYNC 4 navigation. The distinctive Raptor trim and heated seats demonstrate that this new model is far more than a standard pickup truck. Sitting in the vehicle at the show, everything feels familiar, yet premium.

The all-new Ford Ranger Raptor is offered in three distinct colours. Arctic White comes at no extra cost, or you can choose a metallic finish such as Meteor Grey available for £600inc VAT or the Premium and the stunning Code Orange available for £720inc VAT. This would be our choice after viewing the Code Orange at the show.

Additional extras
As with other ranger models you have the option to add additional raptor packs to personalise your vehicle. These come in the form of an Exterior Dress Pack (£1860inc VAT) which adds the plastic cab roll over bar and power roll tonneau cover or you can opt for the Raptor Splash Decal Pack for £600inc VAT.
