Introducing Andy Lofthouse, Senior Sales Executive

Andy has been with Pye Motors for nearly ten years so we asked him what he enjoys about working with the Pye team, what's in his boot and his dream drive.

When did you join the Pye family?
I joined Pye Motors in August 2013 at the Morecambe Branch and have worked there ever since.

What was your first role at Pye, and the path to your current role?
I started as a Sales Executive dealing with new and used cars and I was promoted to Senior Sales Executive in 2021.

What does a typical day at work look like?
Everyday is different. Working with the sales team to achieve our objectives and look after our customers. There's always new product, new models, new technology, and new offers to understand. No two days are ever the same in sales, there’s always lots of enquires to manage, and orders to fulfil. It’s a team effort and being part of a team is great.

What do you most enjoy about your role at Pye?
Working for a family run firm who appreciate what you do and value you as a person.

What are you most excited by within the business?
With Pye Motors being a Ford Store, we are able to sell Ford Mustang, Transit MRST models and the new Ford Mustang Mach-E. With the announcement of the Fiesta stopping production after 48 years, the world has changed and many Fiesta customers are now choosing Puma with edgy styling and higher driving position. Puma will soon have an All-Electric powertrain too.

Within your role what are you most proud about?
My customer base has grown and grown, it's great to have customers return to upgrade their vehicles 4/5 times over with me and introduce friends and family too.

What vehicle do you currently drive?
Ford Focus Vignale Estate in Desert Island Blue.

What's in your boot?
I don’t keep much in my boot; I have my walking boots and a blanket for when I take my dog, Harley, out.

What would be your dream vehicle to drive?
It has to be an Aston Martin Valhalla Hybrid for me.
