For Mike, launching Chery is a once-in-a-career opportunity.
“What excites me most is the chance to introduce a brand that’s completely rewriting the rules of the UK car market,” he says. “We’re starting fresh, with no outdated thinking—just the latest technology and a true customer-first mindset.”
Mike is especially excited about the Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) technology, offering up to 91 miles of pure electric range on the Tiggo 9 hybrid and up to 56 miles on the Tiggo 7 hybrid and Tiggo 8 hybrid—meaning many customers can handle their daily driving without using petrol at all.
Add in features like multi-programme massage seats, a 540° transparent chassis camera, Sony surround sound, and a 7-year warranty as standard, and it’s easy to see why customers are genuinely surprised—in the best way.

Fun fact: When he’s not in the showroom, Mike is on a mission to visit every football ground he can—over 70 grounds ticked off so far, following Barrow AFC through thick and thin.

Deekshith’s connection with Chery started long before it arrived in the UK.
“I first came across Chery while working in the UAE,” he explains. “I was impressed by the quality, fit, finish, and the level of features for the price. I knew it was a brand that would become very well known.”
For Deekshith, the most rewarding moments come when customers step inside the car for the first time.
“The reaction to the interior is always a surprise—especially when I tell them the Tiggo 8 comes with massage seats. Every time, it’s just ‘Wow!’”
He’s passionate about teamwork and transparency, focusing on building trust rather than rushing a sale.
“As a team, we share insights, listen to customer feedback, and aim to create long-term relationships, not just one-off purchases.”
Fun fact: Since moving to the UK, Deekshith has become fascinated by British horse-riding culture—and plans to start riding lessons once the weather improves.

“A typical day is following up enquiries, helping customers in the showroom, and making sure the dealership always looks its best.”

Fun fact: If he wasn’t in the motor trade, Charles reckons he’d be running a café by the sea.
