You may remember a little while ago we supplied one of our mini buses to the charity, Friends of Chernobyl's Children. We shared a lovely picture of the group setting out on their annual UK tour as they stood ready for their journey, next to the bus.
We're so pleased to say we received a lovely update from them letting us know how their trip has been! Mark Cowen, the CEO of Friends of Chernobyl’s Children said, "The children returned home to Belarus on the 9th July after 4 very busy weeks in the Lancaster area. The organisation was made a lot easier by having the use of the 17 seater minibus for the 4 weeks and being to get all 14 children, 2 interpreters and the driver in one vehicle. We had trips to the Lake District, Wennington, Silverdale , Morecambe and Heysham etc and the children returned home with full suitcases of winter clothes , vitamins and family gifts. They are already looking forward to their visit in June 2017."
You can see some pictures here of their journey. We've so glad you all had a good time! Here's to June 2017!
