No matter where you go, get there more efficiently with the All-New Kuga Plug-In Hybrid. Take a trip to the shops, drop the kids at school, and arrive at work, with the advanced electric powertrain. Capable of driving up to 31 miles solely on electric, you can go about your daily routine without emitting any CO2 emissions. When the evening rolls around, plug your Kuga into the mains and leave it to charge.

Working away? No problem. For longer journeys you can switch to the 2.5L Duratec petrol engine. The Kuga will charge your battery on the go, allowing you to swap back to pure electric once complete. Don’t compromise with the Kuga, experience the best of both worlds.

Keeping your options open

The Kuga is also available with a mild hybrid powertrain which combines a small electric motor with a 48-volt battery and the classic EcoBoost engine. The mild-hybrid vehicle cannot run on electric alone, but uses it to support the petrol engine when required. Recharge is easy with regenerative braking technology that lets you charge as you drive.

As a six-time winner of the International Engine of the Year Award, the EcoBoost petrol engine doesn’t compromise on performance. Available in 125 PS or 155 PS, the Kuga produces less CO2 emissions than a conventional petrol engine. Plus, with 6-speed manual transmission the Kuga makes gear selection quicker and quieter.

Make your day-to-day easier with the All-New Kuga. Download the FordPass app to locate your vehicle, monitor its condition and keep it secure. On cold mornings, get the engine running before you even step out the door by using the FordPass app to unlock and start up the engine.

Automatic Driving Assistance.

Travel at the speed you choose with Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control. The built-in RADAR sensor will detect nearby vehicles and slow to maintain a safe distance. Combined with the Lane Keeping System, the Kuga will prevent unintentional drifts and speed increases, to make long journeys more enjoyable.

Once the road is clear, the system will automatically accelerate back up to your chosen speed. The built-in RADAR sensor will continue to adjust your speed to suit traffic density, ensuring you get to your destination swiftly and safely.
