Ford utilises the services of Skillnet who is the UK's largest provide of apprenticeships and training schemes to the automotive industry and is the only approved supplier to the Ford Masters Apprenticeship Programme. Ford are looking to recruit 500 young people on the FMAP (Ford Master Apprenticeship Programme) this year in order to meet demand from the Ford dealer network for staff trained in the following business channels: -
Ford state that they are looking for young people with a broad interest in the motor trade and a good standard of education. Successful applicants will be fully employed from day one and will undertake a programme of study leading to an NVQ level 3 in their chosen business area. The programme enjoys good success rates and has an established track record of retaining apprentices who develop long-term careers in the automotive industry.
